Software: If the internal is showing as overdose but the external is not, is the operator considered overdose?
If the internal dosimetry is higher than the external dosimetry at high noise levels (above 85dB(A)) then it implies the user is not wearing the headset correctly. See how this can happen.
The internal noise level is not considered accurate if the user is not wearing the headset correctly, therefore the external noise level is a better representation of what the user is hearing.
So If the external exposure is below 100% dose then the user has not been over-exposed to noise.
