Acoustic Feedback
The FocusLite is designed to be used in all weather conditions. When used in very wet conditions the foam microphone wind cover (highlighted in red below) can become saturated with water. Don't worry! Your FocusLite is fully water proof and won't be damaged by this. When the foam is saturated with liquid, it can however temporarily block the microphone which will cause an acoustic feedback which sounds like a high pitched tone. If this is the case, simply compress the foam cover with your finger. Pressing the foam against the inner microphone frame with you finger will enable the liquid to be expelled from the foam. This will stop the acoustic feedback.
If you continue to experience acoustic feedback when the foam cover is cleared of water you may need to replace the foam cover if it is blocked with other debris. Replacement foam covers can be purchased here: https://www.eave.io/shop/p/focuslite-external-microphone-cover
