Creating and Managing Work Groups in Peak
This guide will walk you through the process of creating a new work group, managing existing work groups, and adding personnel to work groups within the Peak platform.
Navigating to the Work Group Management Section
Login to Peak: First, log into your Peak account
Enter your email address and password

Accessing the Personnel Tab: From the main dashboard, navigate to the Personnel tab. This is where you can manage all work groups and personnel
Managing Work Groups: In the Personnel tab, select the Manage Work Groups option, located in the top right-hand corner of the screen. This will take you to the screen where you can view and manage all your work groups.
Viewing and Filtering Work Groups
- Active Work Groups: By default, the list will display all active work groups
- Inactive Work Groups: If you wish to manage work groups that are marked as inactive, you can adjust the filter settings:
- Change the filter option to show All work groups or Inactive work groups
- Select the appropriate filter to include the inactive work groups in your view
Creating a New Work Group
Adding a Work Group: To add a new work group, follow these steps:
- Click on the Add Work Group button.
- A pop-up window will appear where you can input the Work Group Name.
- After entering the name, select Create to finalize the new work group.
Editing an Existing Work Group: If you need to change the name of an existing work group:
- Find the work group you wish to edit from the list.
- Click on the pencil icon next to the work group name on the right side of the screen.
- Enter the new name and save the changes
Marking Work Groups as Active or Inactive: Each work group has an option to mark it as active or inactive. You can toggle this setting as required to indicate the status of the group.
Adding Personnel to a Work Group
Navigate to the Personnel Tab: Go to the Personnel tab to add individuals to the work groups.
Add Personnel:
- Select Add Personnel within the Personnel tab
- In the pop-up window, input the Individual's Name.
- Select the Relevant Work Group from the dropdown menu.
- Once you've entered the individual's name and selected the work group, click Create to add the individual to the selected work group.
Viewing Personnel: After adding personnel, you can view the individual in the Personnel tab, where all assigned members are listed.
By following these steps, you can easily create, manage, and assign personnel to work groups in Peak. This functionality helps organise individuals and hardware for effective noise management and exposure tracking.
